According to a copyrighted Associated Press report published on March 21 in the Washington Post, the accumulating evidence on the question shows "most of the dramatic gain in the number of Americans with health care coverage" is on account of the Affordable Care Act and "not the gradual recovery of the nation’s economy."
Even the American Enterprise Institute writes publicly and for attribution about the ACA's achievements. The report notes that 10 "health policy experts" reported to the American Enterprise Institute that because of the good results it has produced, the ACA should not be replaced without an adequate substitute available.
